UK - Self-invested personal pension guru John Moret - known in the industry as "Mr SIPP" - has joined Suffolk Life as sales and marketing director.
Moret, who was formerly executive chairman of Winterthur Life subsidiary PPML, has 30 years’ experience in the pensions industry.
He is an associate of the Institute of Actuaries and was the inaugural chairman of the SIPP Provider Group.
Suffolk Life managing director Henry Catchpole said: “Attracting a person of John’s calibre is excellent news. His experience, expertise and reputation will allow us to continue our development in the SIPP market.”
Moret added: “Suffolk Life is perfectly positioned to exploit the major opportunities in the fast growing SIPP and related markets. There is a great deal of energy in its office and I am joining at a very exciting time.”
