UK - Insight Investments Management has recruited Stuart Collins and Alan Porter to its equity research team.
Collins joined Insight having previously worked at Axa Investment Managers where he was a global equity analyst. At Insight he will focus on UK mining, chemicals and basic industries.
Porter was previously at Old Mutual and Hill Samuel as a European fund manager. He will now have a research role focusing on European basic industries.
In addition, Insight has boosted its equity portfolio risk analysis team with the appointment of Ian MacDonald. He was previously at the WM Company where he was involved in the development of risk analysis products.
Collins and Porter report to co-head of equities and institutional chief investment officer Alan Denholm. MacDonald reports to head of quant and risk analysis Barry Widdows.
They will all report to the new Insight head of equity research Nick Anderson when he joins the business in November.
