UK - The Altro Group, a manufacturer and supplier of safety flooring, interior surfaces and vehicle care products, has appointed Punter Southall as actuary for its £31m pension fund on the back of a formal review process.
In addition to providing actuarial services to the Hertfordshire-based fund, the firm will take over the scheme’s administration.
Peter Javes, deputy company secretary, said: “We were impressed with Punter Southall’s innovative approach and its service-led ethos and reputation. We believe that their advice and assistance in the management of our pension arrangements will prove valuable.”
Andrew MacRae (pictured), principal of Punter Southall, said: “This mandate win is recognition of our ability to deliver first class actuarial and administration services to trustees and their schemes, and of our experience in aiding our clients in the management of their schemes.”
The fund has more than 800 members.
