It also examines the suitability of with-profits as an AVC investment option and considers what might be an optimal AVC investment strategy in the future, according to the firm.

Given the Equitable Life saga, there has been much public discussion about the merits of with-profits investment recently, with debates on the ownership of orphan with-profits assets and the perceived lack of transparency of with-profits funds, added Parker.
