US - Catherine Banat has joined alternative investment administration specialist Derivatives Portfolio Management as executive vice president.
Banat’s responsibilities include managing the sales group, building a client service team and spearheading other business development opportunities.
Banat is CEO of C3 Capital, a consulting firm dedicated to supporting the business development needs of the hedge fund community. She will continue in this role.
Banat was previously with Goldman Sachs, Paloma Partners, and latterly Lehman Brothers as senior vice president responsible for global sales for equity finance.
