EUROPE - Henderson Global Investors, part of AMP, has lost John Nestor to Citigroup Asset Management (CAM).
Nestor will now head up CAM’s European institutional business and global consultant relations, effective from November. He will be responsible for driving institutional business in the Middle East and Africa, and reports to A. Rama Krishna.
Nestor has over 16 years experience in institutional sales, marketing and client services, the last 9 of which were spent at Henderson. Most recently he was director of institutional marketing & client services, responsible for managing all non-investment aspects of the institutional business.
The move will come as blow to Henderson, since Nestor is well respected by UK pension funds and investment consultants. Citigroup’s David Motill in the US and Kerry Duffain in London will now report to Nestor.
