Gartmore Investment Management has appointed Jim Campbell as senior portfolio manager of its UK equities team.
Campbell replaces Stuart Hepburn, who leaves the company in August on gardening leave.
Campbell joins Gartmore after six years at Morley Fund Management where he served as a UK equity fund manager.
He will report to Andrew Carter, head of the UK investment team.
Gartmore’s existing UK equities team comprises 15 professionals, including Campbell. The team consists of three London-based divisions, namely UK retail large cap, UK institutional large cap, UK small cap and the Glasgow-based UK split cap.
