EUROPE - Pioneer Investments has hired Kate Parker as institutional sales manager for UK and Ireland as it positions itself to further "target" the institutional marketplace.
Parker (pictured) will be based in the firm's London office and will report to Paul Price, head of institutional business for the international division.
Prior to joining the team at Pioneer, Parker was new business development manager at HSBC London. She has also worked for KAS Bank NV and Deutsche Bank AG in institutional sales and relationship management.
Paul Price commented that Parker's appointment came at a time when Pioneer was looking to increase its "outreach in the pension fund industry in the UK and Ireland".
