AUSTRALIA - Mercer Investment Consulting has appointed Nerida Law as senior researcher, head of Australian shares on its global manager research team.
Based in Sydney, Law will be responsible for conducting primary due diligence on investment managers and their strategies and providing recommendations to Mercer’s strategy teams and ratings committee.
She joins from ipac, where she was senior investment manager responsible for research and development of portfolio strategies across multiple asset classes, and developing asset class and risk management strategies.
Commenting on the appointment, Tony Cole, head of Mercer IC, said: “Nerida brings a wealth of experience from both asset management and consulting, and she has the knowledge and the insight to make a significant contribution across a broad range of research activities at Mercer.”
Prior to ipac, Law held senior portfolio management positions at Deutsche Funds Management and Prudential Portfolio Managers. She takes up her new role in mid-July.
