UK/EUROPE - Russell/Mellon CAPS has hired Richard Jobling to the newly-created post of head of sales, marketing and relationship management for UK and Europe.
He has already spent six months working as a strategic consultant to the firm.
Commenting on the appointment, Fred Settelmeyer, Russell/Mellon CAPS chief executive officer, said: “[Jobling’s] time spent working with us gives him a valuable perspective on our organisation.”
Jobling is known in the industry through his work at Euraplan, the software and services provider. Over a period of six years he helped to develop the firm’s business, first as a sales and marketing director, and then as chief executive officer.
Formed in 2001 with the merger of Russell/Mellon Analytical Services and performance measurement company CAPS, the combined firm now has over 2,300 asset managers, 50 consultants and over 1,200 pension fund clients in Europe.
