Schroder Investment Management Nederland NV has appointed Robeco's Pieter van Daalen as its new managing director.
Van Daalen will be responsible for activity in the Netherlands and Belgium, and will report to Robert Noordhoek Hegt, head of European institutional business development
He joins after 16 years with Robeco, where he will continue to work as senior vice president corporate development until July.
van Daalen will initially concentrate on building up a team of six people for the institutional market before developing a separate team for the retail market. Hegt expects this process to be completed by the year end.
