Gartmore's head of UK institutional business development, Anthea Nugent has resigned from the firm, for personal reasons.
Nugent had taken time away from Gartmore and in her absence, her duties were re-allocated to Stephen Attenborough, head of global consulting. The firm has yet to appoint a replacement.
Before joining Gartmore in 1997, Nugent was head of manager research at William M. Mercer. Upon joining Gartmore, she was made head of client services and was then appointed as head of UK institutional business development in September last year.
Gartmore was recently acquired by Nationwide Mutual in the US.
