Mellon appoints GSS director

US - Custody services firm Mellon Financial Corporation has promoted Vince Sands to the position of executive director of Mellon Global Securities Services (GSS) in the US.


Sands will be responsible for developing and executing GSS’s strategy and business development.

In addition to his new responsibilities, Sands will continue to manage all of GSS’ US trust services, which include sales and marketing, client services, implementation, e-commerce, information delivery and GSS’ newly created investment management outsourcing group.
