UK - Alternative fund manager, Man Investment Products, is set to launch its latest capital guaranteed offering.
The Bermuda-domiciled Man Multi-Strategy Series 3 (Series 3), which will be available in both US$-Class and Euro-Class bonds, targets annualised returns of around 18% while aiming to restrict volatility to around 13%.
The investment strategies in the portfolio include securities selection (long/short), event driven, managed futures and market neutral and arbitrage strategies.
Investors in Series 3 will benefit from increased exposure of US$/Euro 150 for every US$/Euro 100 invested, said Man.
Investors are ensured the return of at least the face value of the bonds they hold at maturity, and a profit lock-in feature allowing a portion of net new trading profits to be held in following periods of sustained profitability, added the firm.
Minimum investment is 50,000 bonds. Investors may apply for a combination of US$ and Euro denominated bonds, subject to a minimum of 20,000 bonds in each class.
Maturity dates are August 31, 2012 for US$-class bonds and February 28, 2013 for Euro-class bonds.
The offer period is from November 5 to December 14, 2001, with a possible extension.
