UK - Winterthur Life, the UK life and pensions arm of Credit Suisse, has created new roles for John Moret and Jim Ryan at its subsidiary PPML.
Ryan will move from his position as Winterthur Life’s managing director of operations to become managing director of Personal Pension Management (PPML), a provider of SIPP administration.
He was previously instrumental in the integration of Colonial Mutual into Winterthur Life.
Moret, who was previously sales and marketing director of Winterthur Life and managing director of PPML, has now become the executive chairman of PPML.
He will retain responsibility for all sales, marketing and client management issues at PPML and has taken on responsibility for public affairs work across the entire Winterthur Life UK group of companies, under the title of director of pensions strategy.
One of his first considerations in this role will be to look at the impact of the Green Paper on pension provision.
