UK - Britannic Asset Management has appointed Russell Oxley as investment manager to its fixed interest investment team.
Oxley will be responsible for managing Britannic's £2.6 billion gilts portfolio.
Previously, Oxley worked with Swiss Re, where he was a fixed income fund manager.
Eddie Middleton, head of government securities, said: Russell will bring valuable specialist experience to the team. His appointment will enable us to push ahead with developing our interest-rate swap capability on the fixed interest desk, with a view to enhance the services and products we offer to clients. In addition, it is also important for us to keep broadening our capabilities given that government bonds investment is growing rapidly.
