UK - The £889m (US$1.3bn) Dyfed Pension Fund and the £1bn Wiltshire Pension Fund have appointed Prudential UK as additional voluntary contribution provider.
The Dyfed Fund has almost 18,000 members across 52 employers, while the Wiltshire scheme serves 66 different organisations and 19,000 members.
Both local government funds said the company's ability to communicate AVC arrangements and Local Government Pension Scheme benefits to members were key factors in their decision.
Prudential now provides AVC services to 65 of the 99 local government administering authorities, and seven of the 11 Scottish local authorities.
