In 2001, Global Pensions set out to offer the European pension industry's first major awards. A decade later, it's great to see we've not only met our goal, but grown to provide the only truly global platform for pension funds to honour their providers.
I’m very proud to announce that the nomination process for the tenth Annual Global Pensions Awards are now under way.
A look at the changing categories throughout the years highlights how much our industry has changed. Balanced manager and pooled manager of the year have been replaced with categories like liability driven investment strategies and derivatives manager of the year.
And new this year is the fiduciary management category. Given the increasing complexity of the investment management landscape, it’s no surprise these providers have sprouted up over recent years. (Click here to see an analysis on the impact of fiduciary managers on the multi-manager landscape.)
The category we’re most looking forward to, however, is our Decade of Distinction award. Whether it’s a consultant who revolutionised risk management or an academic who developed a game-changing investment strategy, we want to know who has had the most impact on the asset management industry over the past ten years.
Only pension funds can nominate, so the Global Pensions Awards are a true representation of who has served this elite group best!
Nominating your providers is easy. Simply visit www.globalpensions.com/awards.
We look forward to hearing from you!
