
Clearing the way for social housing investment

Last month the government confirmed uplifts in social housing rents after months of uncertainty. From April 2015 rents will increase in line with the consumer prices index (CPI) plus one percentage point, providing housing associations with secure income and the ability to issue inflation linked debt.
