The gap between contributions into defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes is growing, according to figures from the Office of National Statistics.
The ONS reports a “marked difference” between DC and DB contributions in 2006 in its latest report on the industry. The rate for open DB schemes was 4.9pc for members and 14.2pc for employers. ...
