The number of schemes closed to new accruals is set to rise by 141pc over the next three years, latest research from Aon Consulting reveals.
Its survey of 115 UK firms operating defined benefit schemes found that while 27pc were currently open to both new members and accruals, only 18pc expected to be in a similar situation in 2009. ...
