PIC adds to social housing portfolio with £72m PFI bond

Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) has increased its allocated funds to social housing by purchasing £72m of bonds from Salford City Council.

The bonds back a private finance initiative (PFI) to fund the New Pendleton Social Housing project. This will see 1,270 homes be refurbished in the Salford area and maintained for 30 years. PIC was the...
