The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has launched a consultation to clarify how the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) should treat transferred-in defined benefit (DB) entitlements when calculating compensation.
The call for input comes after the High Court last year disagreed with the PPF Ombudsman that transferred-in benefits from an old employer to a new employer should be aggregated when calculating PPF compensation....
