Capital-backed journey plans: A new covenant solution

A recent survey published by Lane Clark & Peacock revealed that one in three trustee respondents thought they could not rely on their sponsoring employer’s survival for more than five years. Are they right to have such limited confidence in their sponsor? If so, maybe they ought to revisit the tools available to improve the employer covenant support provided to their scheme.
