BlackRock rehires Cheetham from GSAM
BLACKROCK has rehired Geoff Cheetham as UK account management managing director to in a bid to build stronger relationships with institutional clients.
Cheetham will report to managing director and head of UK institutional account management Juliet Bullick.
He joins from Goldman Sachs Asset Management where he was executive director, UK & Ireland institutional business, prior to which he spent three years at HSBC. This followed eight years as a director in the institutional account management team of BlackRock’s predecessor, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.
Bullick said: "We are delighted to welcome Geoff back to our team. During his time at MLIM he demonstrated outstanding client relationship management skills and has continued to build up a deep knowledge of institutional investment throughout his time at HSBC and GSAM."
