Aon Consulting has appointed two directors to its pension administration team as the business expands.
Kevin Smith has been appointed transition director, while Paul Hartfield has taken up the post of client service director. The pair bring nearly 50 years of experience to the pensions administration team.
Smith will be responsible for the operational and transition strategy for Aon Consulting’s proposition to larger schemes, as well as assisting the leadership team with the implementation of key business objectives.
He brings nearly 30 years pension administration experience, including broad and strategic operational experience. He previously worked for Capita Hartshead.
Hartfield is tasked with running the Farnborough pensions administration operation, which has 130 staff and 100 clients, as well as bolstering the operational leadership team along with Smith. He joins Aon Consulting from Xafinity Paymaster, where he was scheme member services director.
Pensions administration managing director Stuart Heatley said: "Kevin and Paul bring a wealth of experience to the pensions administration team, and a long history of demonstrable results. There is no doubt they will play a vital role in ensuring we continue to grow and deliver the best results to our clients and across the industry."
