EDINBURGH CITY COUNCIL has gone out to tender for a transition manager for its pension funds.
The council said it wanted to appoint a manager for the £2.6bn Lothian Pension Fund, the £178m Lothian Buses Fund and the £117m Scottish Homes Pension Fund.
But it said it was currently only seeking expressions of interest and there was no immediate plan for any transition.
The contract is due to commence on April 1, 2009 and will run for six years.
