Businesses are being put off bidding for public service contracts because of the cost of providing pensions to transferring workers, the Confederation of British Industry warns.
The business association said firms have to pay anything between 25% and 50% of salary to fund the pensions of ex public sector staff - leaving many unable to compete against public sector employer...
