After the 2008 financial crisis and the 2010 Arab Spring, investors have shied away from certain emerging markets for fear of politically-induced volatility.

Overall, the majority of areas experienced an increase in their political risk rating over 2013, but political risk is actually falling in some surprising areas, according to Aon research.   ...
