DB scheme funding 'remarkably robust' despite market turmoil

The market value of private sector defined benefit (DB) schemes fell by 3% between Q3 and Q4 2022, figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show.

The figures - released today (22 June) - showed despite market turmoil in the latter half of the year, DB scheme health remained relatively strong with values dropping 3% from £1.27trn in Q3 to £1....
