TRUSTEES of the £400m Newsquest Pension Scheme have allocated 10pc of the scheme’s assets to two fund of hedge funds.

An investment of £25m was made to the Stenham Universal Fund and a further £15m was allocated to Liongate Capital Management’s multi-strategy fund.
The investments are part of the pension scheme’s investment strategy of seeking diversification of assets and superior risk adjusted returns.
