Mercer appoints European DC leader in bid to grow business

MERCER has promoted Craig Burnett to the position of defined contribution consulting leader for Europe.

The consultancy firm said Burnett would help to grow its DC pensions business and develop new service offerings in this area.

Burnett was previously a global client manager at Mercer which he joined five years ago.

Prior to joining Mercer, he worked in various DC environments with Watson Wyatt, Howard Johnson and Financial Engines.

Mercer European retirement business leader Jacques Goulet said: "We are delighted to welcome Craig to our expanding DC business in Europe. He brings a wealth of experience in DC consulting to his new role. "
