SL Investment Management has appointed Louise Witts as a senior actuary within its product and proposition development team.
She joins the asset manager having previously been a partner at Barnett Waddingham.
Witts (pictured), a fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, has 20 years' experience in the actuarial consulting industry, including pensions and investment consultancy, longevity product development and the modelling of construction capital projects.
AT SL, she will report to chief actuary Ian Cotgias and be involved in product development, as well as providing technical input and advice to both clients and prospects, covering the purchasing and valuation of traded endowment policies and life settlements, client reporting and the structuring of new portfolios.
SL chief executive Paul Sands said: "We are delighted that Louise has joined us. She will be an asset to our already strong actuarial team and joins in an exciting period of product development for the company."
