AP3 poised to make Q3 European small-cap hires

SWEDEN - AP3, Sweden's third national pension fund, is on the verge of appointing 2 or more managers for up to e450m in European active small-caps and is positioning itself for its first foray in hedge funds.

The Stockholm-based fund originally tendered for a joint European small and mid caps mandate earlier this year. But successful managers will still be given some flexibility to venture into mid-caps...
