SWEDEN - AP3 chief investment officer Erik Valtonen is to step down after 10 years with the fund.

SWEDEN - A cross-party task force looking into pension reform in Sweden has decided to rule out merging the country's four largest pension buffer funds into one super SEK800bn (US$102.45bn) pot.

SWEDEN - Swedish pension fund AP3 reported returns of 5.3% before expenses in the six months ended June 30.

It's been nearly a decade since the Swedish pension system was established and the economic crisis is giving it its first test.
