Global financial services firm, State Street Corporation, has appointed Gregory L. Summe as a board director, bringing the total number of members to 19.
Summe is chief executive officer and chairman of US commercial hi-tech company PerkinElmer.
He joined the Boston, Massachusetts-based PerkinElmer (then named EG&G) in January 1998 as president and chief operating officer. He was elected CEO and chairman of the board in 1999.
