Actuarial firm Jagger & Associates has been appointed by UK laboratory suppliers Camlab to act as investment advisers to its £2.5m pension scheme.
Jagger director and actuary Simon Jagger said Many small and medium-sized schemes are now aware of the need to examine investment issues in greater depth. They are also recognising the benefit of having independent investment advice delivered over efficient timescales at sensible fee rates.
Jagger said that the scheme’s trustees had come to recognise the benefit of stand-alone independent investment advice.
Camlab currently uses Royal & SunAlliance and Aegon as its investment managers.
