NEW YORK - Mercer HR today launched an integrated outsourcing offering for DB and DC plan sponsors called Mercer Retirement Solutions.
The product covers plan management, asset management, administration, and employee communications. It also allows employers to address the costs, complexities, and risks of all aspects of their retirement plans. It will be targeted at companies with 3000 or more employees, and with retirement plan assets of over US$100m.
Mercer HR Services president Jeff Miller said: “With delivery and administration of retirement plans becoming more complex, and fiduciary risk becoming a greater concern, plan sponsors are looking for partners to help them manage their retirement plans for maximum efficiency.”
This week's Pensions Buzz respondents were mostly in agreement that 10 weeks is an appropriate length of time to conduct a full DB to DC transfer.
