GLOBAL - State Street's e-finance network Global Link has added Standard Life Investment's Money Market Fund to Fund Connect - its fund research and trade execution system.
Fund Connect currently offers investors AIM Global's Short Term Investment Company Funds, Merrill Lynch Institutional Liquidity Funds, SSgA’s Cash Management Funds and State Street’s Multicurrency Investment Funds.
Standard Life Investments will initially make its AAA cash fund available over Global Link, which is used by 400 global asset management companies.
Global Link head and managing director said Simon Wilson-Taylor: “The addition of Standard Life Investments’ cash funds to Global Link’s Fund Connect furthers our goal of expanding into a comprehensive range of single country equity index and global sector funds.”
Standard Life Investments money market funds managing director Kevin Thompson said: “State Street’s e-finance network provides us an ideal opportunity to offer our AAA money market fund directly to global investors who execute cross border fund investing.”
