GLOBAL - Cara Williams has been named Mercer Investment Consulting‘s new global chief operating officer replacing Jim Hiner, who is retiring after 20 years with the firm.
Williams, based in London, joined Mercer IC in 2005 as chief administrative officer, overseeing finance, human resources, business operations for the global manager research group, and Mercer Global Investments’ global client relationships.
She has more than 11 year experience in the pensions and investment industry, having joined Mercer from Merrill Lynch Investment Management in consultant relations in New York.
Previous roles include responsibility for European sales in the investment management group at French bank CDC, and responsibility for budgets and logistics at the US Army and Nato deployments.
