BRAZIL - Global consultant Watson Wyatt has acquired the benefits consulting business of Atual Assessoria e Consultoria Atuarial, the Brazilian actuarial consulting firm.
The acquisition bolsters Watson Wyatt's presence in Brazil with the addition of 19 professionals, whose clients include some of Brazil’s largest pension funds.
This acquisition is an excellent strategic fit as we focus on building market share and expanding our reach in Brazil, said Jorge Bou, regional manager for Watson Wyatt in Latin America.
It also gives a broader range of consulting expertise and experience in one of our core service areas, he added.
