EUROPE - Mercer Investment Consulting has appointed Divyesh Hindocha as head of its Ireland and continental Europe practice.
He takes over from Tim Gardener who will now concentrate on his role as global practice head.
Hindocha is a worldwide partner at Mercer and for several years held the position of senior consultant responsible for advising institutional investors in Europe and the Middle East on all investment related issues.
In addition Mercer Human Resource Consulting has appointed Richard Wetenhall as head of client development and a European partner and Kendra Osenton as an actuarial consultant.
Wetenhall, who was previously director of marketing and strategy for corporate banking and financial markets at the Royal Bank of Scotland, will take over from Graham Leigh. He moves to a full-time role as head of global marketing at Mercer.
Osenton joins from Woolwich, where she was pensions manager and trustee secretary. Prior to that she was a pensions manager for Stena Line.
Based in Brentwood, her role will involve providing advice to a portfolio of clients on occupational pensions and employee benefits related matters.
The People's Pension, Atlas Master Trust and The Cheviot Trust have been granted authorisation from The Pensions Regulator (TPR), taking the total number of authorised master trusts to 18.
