Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) has appointed Emilio Alvarez as a global equity analyst.
Alvarez’s main focus will be US equities, contributing to global equity value portfolio construction and working with MSIM’s 19-strong London-based research co-operative. He will report to Frances Campion, head of the global value equity programme.
Alvarez joined Morgan Stanley in 1991 as a sell-side equity research analyst where he initially covered the building sector, followed by the banking, holding companies and tobacco sectors. In 2000 he joined Morgan Stanley’s European equity capital markets team.
