World-wide multi-manager specialists Frank Russell Company has bagged a global balanced mandate from Arnhem-based pension fund Arcadis Nederland.
The wins bring the number of investment mandates secured from Dutch pension funds so far this year to three, worth over EUR125m, according to Frank Russell.
The Arcadis fund - which covers the Dutch arm of the international services organisation - has also appointed Frank Russell Securities to offer transition management services worth NLG 1.5bn (EUR681m)
Additionally, the EUR400m Origin pension fund - the IT services provider - has handed Russell a EUR30m global equities mandate.
Another undisclosed corporate Dutch pension fund has also awarded the firm a Japanese equity mandate worth EUR20m, according to Frank Russell.
Johan Cras Frank Russell’s director of The Netherlands said: “These three wins strongly support our belief that Russell’s multi-manager funds will play a key role in the portfolios of pension funds looking for a more specialised approach.
He added: “The trend towards greater specialisation ... is the driver behind the growing interest in our approach. Indeed, we already have further Dutch mandates in the pipeline.”
