London-based thematic fund management arm of Swiss private Bank Sarasin - Sarasin Investment Management (SIM) - is set to launch a new hedge fund.
The Sarasin Global Thematic Hedge Fund (SGTHF) will be on a long/short basis.
The fund’s primary objectives are capital growth and preservation in periods of uncertain volatility, according to the firm.
SGTHF will be managed by Justin Haque who joins the firm from JP Morgan where he was responsible for equity-sales to US and UK hedge funds.
