Lucent seals foray into hedge funds

NETHERLANDS - The e450m Lucent Technologies has sealed its foray into hedge funds by investing in three funds of Deutsche Asset Management.

Arthur Smit, the director of the Lucent fund said: “We have allocated e25m or 5% of our portfolio to hedge funds and we do not plan to increase this stake.”
