NETHERLANDS - PGGM has been told it can lawfully keep its name after the Dutch Association of Insurance Companies sued the asset manager, saying it had an unfair advantage in the industry.
A spokesperson for PGGM, said: "We cannot help we have a good image, in fact PGGM paid a competitive price for the name, and for some reason the they are afraid of a new player in the market."
The court case was brought on 30 January 2008, through the grievance procedure, and on Wednesday the judge made the decision public.
