EUROPE - Principal Global Investors has made three new appointments in line with its European expansion plans.
The manager has appointed Greg Thornton as product development director, Samuel Lopez Briceno as fixed income analyst and Claire Macdonald as European client services manager.
Thornton was formally head of product development for F&C Asset Management, while Briceno joins from GE Asset Management.
Macdonald previously was an assistant vice president of European marketing at Putnam Investments.
