EUROPE - AEGON Pension Network has confirmed that a tax-transparent pooling vehicle it is currently developing should be launched in 2008.
Martijn Tans, head of product development and marketing at Aegon Pension Network, said that the product was being developed because more and more multinational companies were taking the view that pension provision was a European or global affair.
Tans said: “It is in the development stage and I think it will take time for the market to get used to these types of solutions. Over time they will be much more commonplace then today.
Bas Knol, communications manager at Aegon Pension Network, said the pooling product would appeal to those companies that did not have the size to set one up, or those firms that did not have the time or desire to devote to such a project.
Aegon Pension Network was established in 2005 and aims to find pension solutions for multinational companies.
