NETHERLANDS -Jan van der Vlist (pictured), director of structured investments is set to leave PGGM at the turn of the year for NIBCapital together with Anneke van der Putter, senior portfolio manager of real estate.
The two will set up a business unit focused on investment management activities in real estate and infrastructure sectors at the merchant bank.
The double departure comes three months after the Dutch pension funds’ ABP and PGGM sold NIBCapital to J.C Flowers & Co for e2.1bn, after they acquired it in 1999.
Else Bos, executive director at PGGM said: “We are very disappointed they are leaving, but understand that the challenge that awaits them at NIBCapital is a great new step in their careers.”
